IKEA is making it easier — and cheaper — to enjoy its famous Swedish meatballs this summer. The retailer announced it’s cutting weekday restaurant prices by 50% on select dishes through the end of August, and kids eat free on Wednesdays. Customers just need an IKEA Family Card to access the deal.
The promotion is part of IKEA’s effort to help families cope with rising living costs, with food inflation in Canada up 31% since 2019. “Securing the lowest possible price is always our utmost goal,” said Tolga Öncü, IKEA’s retail manager, in a statement.
Stores in Canada and across multiple countries, including France, Germany, and the U.K., are participating in the price cut. Time to plan that IKEA trip — and come hungry.
