The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) Homicide Section is investigating the suspicious death of a 16-year-old girl following a shooting in northeast Edmonton.

Key Details:
Time & Location: Officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, near 139 Avenue and 32 Street.

Incident: Police arrived to find the teenager seriously injured. Officers administered first aid, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation: The EPS Homicide Section has taken over the investigation and is treating the death as suspicious.
